The Email Header Hop-Time Analyzer is a diagnostic tool designed for system administrators to troubleshoot delayed mail delivery.
Every time an email passes through a Mail Transfer Agent (MTA), that server stamps the email with a Received: header containing a timestamp. By parsing these timestamps in chronological order, we can identify exactly which server in the chain was responsible for holding onto the message and causing a delay.
